Chef Adam’s line of spices highlights familiar flavors of Hawaiʻi in easy-to-use salt and spice blends, so everyone can prepare their favorite Hawaiʻi dishes at home. 

Named after Manele Bay in Lana’i, where his culinary journey began, Manele Spice Co. sources Ocean Rock Salts off the coasts of Hawaiʻi and blends it with the highest quality, all natural ingredients from around the world.

 
 
 

Mixing his culinary lifestyle with his history growing up in Hawaiʻi, Chef Adam created five unique spices and blends: Everyday Manele Bay Blend, Backyard Imu Smoke Salt, Tūtū Mama’s Garlic Herb Blend, Upcountry Style Chile Pepper and Hawaiʻi’s Hoʻokupu Salt Blend. Through these five unique blends, Chef Adam wants to share Manele Bay and Hawaiʻi’s flavors with everyone.

The idea for Hawaiian-style spices grew from his need for a larger variety of spices in Hawaiʻi. “When I went to culinary school, we didn’t have any spices in Hawaiʻi. We had chile pepper, we had ʻinamona, we had ogo, and those aren’t even considered spices.”
